| Description/Remarks |
Bark is divided into 8 square-shaped panels with horizontal borders of saw-tooth pattern. Each panel contains the image of a flying fox with "wings" opened wide. Two white-painted foxes are placed at each end, while the four centre foxes are painted black with yellow-ochre bodies. Each flying fox appears against a diagonally-striped cross-hatch (rarrk) patterned ground; beneath each flying fox are small white flowers on a plain ground.
Marked on verso in black marker: "Lewukan OF THE WARARRMIRRI (sic) GROUP; WARRNYU-FLYING FOX; 20ISS488/8" |
