Multi media unique print on paper depicting eight women, in pairs, floating in four boats across a textured ground interspersed with drawings and writings (which represent ancient forms of communication and past lives). A large black bird watches their progress from the upper left of the picture, small flagged buoys either mark their journey or warn of danger; and a slightly off-centred tower behind them on terra firma marks the point of embarkation or guides them home. |
